Scratch and Zing
It can be tricky to install Zing! on a Windows computer if you have Scratch on it as well. However, if you follow this guide, you can install with no problem.
Make sure to follow these steps BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE!!!
1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. Browse to the Scratch folder (C:\Program FIles\Scratch or C:\Program Files (x86)\Scratch), then right-click on the folder.
3. Select "Rename", then type a new name for the folder - "Scratch1" or "ScratchReal" will do.
4. If you have Scratch in your Start Menu>All Programs list, rename that by right clicking and selecting "Rename".
5. You're done! You can now continue with the installation.
